And people's dressing?? The girls are not dressing much at the moment, (which is fine by me!! ) since it's the summer. But other than that...I think they dress ok in the city centre. Just not that great, where I stay.

Since the trip to China is only for a week, can't you take leave or something? Doesn't mean you have to quit? I would love to visit our 'motherland' one fine day as well. My dad went back to Hainan Island (that's where my grandpa came from) last year, and we kinda have relatives (or maybe people claiming to be our relatives) everywhere in the village, asking for money and stuffs. So it's kinda scary going there but my dad keeps insisting that I must go with him one day. Guess I will.

As for the London bombings, I'm not really bothered actually. I have the same mentality as you, woman but I guess like my dad always say...don't be a hero coz heroes always die first.
