The new exhibition at the Chinese Arts Centre (Manchester) starts from tomorrow...here's the blurb on it...

"Whodunnit? by Ming Wong

The Gallery of Chinese arts Centre will be transformed into a theatre to present Whodunnit?, avideo piece by London based Singaporean artist Ming Wong.

Whodunnit? is a dark & delicious cocktail of murder, mayhem, amatuer dramatics & cultural identity.

An English police inspector and a 'colourful' cast of the usual suspects find themselves trapped in a classic Agatha Christie-style drawing room detective drama. But things are not quite as they initially see, with actors of African, Asian, Esat Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Eastern-European, Irish & Jewish descent shaking up pre-conceived stereotypes.

The production of Whodunnit? has been made possible by the support of London Artists' Film and Video Award, Film London."

This sounds really interesting, plus you get free ice cream for every Saturday matinee! Watch out for it as it may be a touring exhibition (don't quote me on that though!)
