A half-day seminar designed to give practical skills & advice to artists & arts administrators of Chinese descent & those working in the sector.
The day will consist of a light hearted debate to decide the grea-*test*-('") Chinese artist, alive, dead, or fictional then later break into sessions tackling such subjects as:
How to apply for funding - detailing the role of commercial companies in arts sponsorships & how to navigate around funding & grants applications.
How to get your work seen - Covering how best to approach public secter & commercial galleries, how to apply for arts competitions, how to tour performance arts, running touring companies & how to get the best out of your website.
Working with education & community groups - A look at The National Portrait Gallery's education programme & detailing the benefits of working in the community sector.
An evening performance by the London Jing Kun Opera Association follows & galleries are open until 9pm

£5 for individuals
£15 for representatives of organisations
